Suntanning essentials!

It feels a bit ironic tt i shud be sitting here, typing away nursing a sunburnt face whilst e storm rages on outside....Torrential rain, rumbles of thunder n lashings of wind...
Yest I went to Sentosa, out of a whim...
Did nt sleep a single wink on Thurs nite n set off at 6am yest for my morn run...
Did 8km , intended 10km but I was ltr for this morn run n by e time i did 8, it was oredi daylight n I'm a total vampire with rgds to running, I can't run by e light of day...
Bumped into a sec 1 classmate along e canal..
Bt it was a gd run n the sunrise by the lake was simply spectacular, wished I had a digicam with me to capture tt glorious moment.
I was jus grateful n blissfully happy to be jus living n breathing at tt moment...Life can be so beautiful at times...
Then gt back, vacummed n mopped e floor, hee hee...dg housework is therapeutic for me, jus like baking....
Bathed n concussed in bed for 2 hrs, till 11 plus.
Gt up, looked out of e window, it was a beautiful sunny day or so i tot.
Decided i jus had to hit Sentosa for a suntan session n some ME time...
As fate wud hv it, the sun was in a sweet temper all e way till i reached Sentosa...then threatening skies...gloomy clouds....
My face was e same color as grey flannel when I sought out my fave spot on e quietest beach on Sentosa, Tanjong beach n felt raindrops raining down upon me...
The sun did come out ltr bt nt for long n by 330, it was a nice, windy, cloudy day...sheesh...perfect weather bt not for suntanning...
Packed up n headed to e bathrm...n was confronted by a grp of Malay gers whom Nat wud describe as Minahs...gawd, they were impossibly loud n abnormally vain too..
Imagine this....They were preening in front of e mirror when i stepped in to bath..
n when I finished my shower,t hey were still at it!! Putting mascara n stuff....
Mascara!! At Sentosa...
I din even hv e space in front of e mirror to apply some moisturiser to my sunburnt face man...

yeah, anyway, conclusion is tt i underestimated e sun n thus din protect my face...so here I am with a lobster like face...
Bt gd news is tt I gt my tan, hee hee...

So all's well tt ends well...
I'm feeling gd....:)
