At this moment, I shud be hving din with 2A'ers at Raffles Place b4 heading for chill out sesh n drinks...
Budden....I cudn't find my passport jus nw n an hr long search took place plus I've nt packed a single thing so in e end, spent e time tearing my rm inside out, upside down onli to discover tt I had tucked my precious document in a brown envelope n put it in e bottom drawer of my study table jus to ensure tt it's intact for e Korean trip...
I guess my memory's failing me...
So e strawberry margaritas will hv to take a raincheck....sheesh, I hope I can squeeze in a drinking session b4 I start work proper..
N Na's FINALLY back from Eastern Europe, welcomed back, ger!!!
Me, u, Soph n Jau can finally meet up but nw it'll hv to wait till I ged back..haha
Anyway, today I baked banana nut bread for brekkie...always wanted to bake bread since I'm a rotiger at heart, I can't do without my bread...n yeap, i've a fetish for bananas....so...tt's e batter with banana slices sprinkled with a dusting of cinnamon powder on top...
The loaf will take 1 hr so din wanna waste e time n I vacummed n mopped e floor in e meantime...
By e time I finished with my domestic chores, I was left with 20 mins still..
So grabbed my jumprope, did 2,500....Ding!
The bread's ready!
My baby... n it's nt chaota, okie! It's a beautiful golden brown cuz of e cinammon powder on top..
Left it to cool on e table n went back to finish e remaining 500 of my jumprope regime...
Then hit e showers....n sliced the loaf into thick slices..
Tried it n it's nice!
Veri moist n yummy with lotsa thick chunky banana...the onli thing was tt i had overtoasted e walnuts b4hand thus e nuts tasted a bit chaota...
It was chockfull of the natural sweet goodness of banana..haha, cuz e recipe asked for 3 ripe bananas but I think I threw in abt 5 or 6 cuz tt bunch of bananas was veri ripe oredi but tt's a gd thing cuz the loaf turned out to be moist n rich..
Mum said my baking skills r improving by e day...*beams*, hee hee...
Next up will be a chocolate fudge cake! I've nvr baked an entire cake b4, e closest I've come to baking a cake were e individual baked cheesecakes I attempted in April..
Yeah, n I still hven't packed a single thing yet..
Thing is I dunno why but I'm not exactly lookin fwd to e trip...I jus feel bogged down in more ways than one...a feeling hard to put into words..
Perhaps, the change of scenery wud do me gd n definitely e change of temp...
The sweltering heat of June in Sgp is turning me way off....jus checked e temp over there...Daytime temp averages ard early 20s to 28 n nighttime ard 16 to early 20s...
N hee hee, Korea does excite me, I guess...nt cuz of Won Bin or e Winter Sonata guy....woots! But cuz of...the ger or rather woman of my dreams..
Presenting someone whom I personally feel to be e most beautiful woman in e world...plus she's our age too, imagine!!
She's heartbreakingly beautiful, e female lead in Summer Scent..Son Yejin...haha n I'm visiting Korea in summer...mebbi I'll chance into her..
Watching her smile jus makes one's heart melt, doesn't it?
Oh well...let's jus hope this trip can jus provide enlightenment on various perspectives of life....perspectives I've previously been blinded to or had refused to acknowledged..
