Wacky Weather!
Moomba Moomba!
Heard tt it's e wettest March over in Spore n here in Melbourne, we're experiencing the hottest March in yrs...Momba Festival was held on Monday n it hit a high of 38.5 degrees celsius at ard 3pm, by tt time, we were safely esconsced in the dark cool confines of Danny's rm cuz standing under the glarin sun watchin the parade was jus abit too much amidst the crowd and sweltering heat...bt the veri next day, on Tuesday, it fell to 18 degrees...weird, erratic weather...the most exciting thing abt Melbourne so far is e weather, bleah..Today was worse, it hit a high of 40 degrees...ventured out to run ard 6 plus pm jus nw n it was still 38, felt like an oven outside bt within 5 mins it dropped to 24 degrees....
Under the sweltering heat...
The whole of Victoria is undergoing a heatwave nw...we get some respite frm the hea tml, max temp is 30. Went to Docklands harbour the other nite after eating or fill at this new HK cafe which had jus opened in Chinatown...Cousin was ravin abt the scenic beauty of the harbour, describing it as a place where u'll think of ur special person n wish for them to be by ur side to admire the beauty...Hmmm..tt din apply to me cuz i din hv anyone to think abt n cuz i din feel it was tt gorgeous anyway...okie, perhaps, i was hopin for Juan to be with me so I can throw her into the waters, haha..bt tt harbour reminded me of a certain place though, the Avenue of Stars in HK, it looked so much like tt place, i was realie surprised..bt HK was more beautiful cuz of all the dazzling skyscrapers..rem i went there alone in the aftermath of a quarrel n after hvin a most disgusting dinner at e cafe nearby, i headed for the Avenue of Stars for the lightshow n amused myself watchin this Eurasian ger flirting with a couple of potbellied middled aged HK men who were leering at her skimpy attire...tt was the day after our first mth, ha, i realie hv a knack for remembering dates...
anyway, on our way there to the harbour, this curly touseled hair toddler bumped into me n at first i tot it was an accident, bt turned out tt he had rushed headlong into me n was hugging my knees as he looked up, grinning frm ear to ear...he was soooo cute!! Anyway, this wk has been a rather quiet wk cuz of the heat, i dun venture out tt often, hope tt e weather turns better next wk cuz I'll be out dg some real sightseeing when my relatives come over...Fingers crossed!
